Incident: Woman and child fell off paddleboard
19.15 Watchkeepers observed a woman and young child on pole sands and were attempting to return to shore on a paddle board – Woman had no life jacket, child had arm bands.
At 19.25 NCI Observed as woman and child fell off paddleboard and were unable to recover recover. Quickly noticed 2 paddleboarders approaching them to assist.
19.26 1 paddleboarder picked up the child and paddle-boarded them to the shore where they were met by family.
19.30 Continued to monitor as second paddleboarder struggled to assist woman. A passing speedboat came alongside to assist, still unable to recovery woman to paddleboard, instead recovered them to the speedboat.
19.30 Call from HMCG to ask if we had eyes on as they had recieved a call, NCI explained exactly what had happened and where they were, HMCG asked whether medical assistance needed.
19.43 Confirmed to CG that all now safely ashore, casualty walking up the beach with paddle board no medical assistance required.
