Incident: Yacht with engine failure

At 16.55, Exmouth NCI received a call from the owner of a yacht in the Exe estuary with engine failure. Our watchkeepers tried to contact the Harbour Master and then informed HMCG and also advised the RNLI Lifeguards of the situation.

At 17:26, the ILB was tasked and were told they were needed for a medical evacuation from the yacht. 2 persons were recovered to the Marina and handed on to the Exmouth Coastguard team for further care.
