A call made to our watchkeepers on VHF Channel 65 from a passing yacht, that a wing boarder they had seen was in difficulty. The casualty was already under observation by our vigilant volunteers. NCI Exmouth contacted the beach RNLI Lifeguards, to make them aware and continued monitoring the casualty. Fifteen minutes later the wing boarder had made his way to shore and self-rescued. NCI volunteers were stood down.
