Wing Boarder potentially in difficulty

At 1730 Watchkeepers observed a wing boarder seaward of Pole Sands apparently drifting eastwards, also noted the lifeguards were alongside but no action taken. Watchkeepers telephoned the lifeguards to establish the outcome and were informed that the wing boarder was experienced and required no assistance.
1840 The wing boarder returned to shore.
