Presentation to Primley WI

We would like to express our thanks to the Primley Women’s Institute, to whom we gave a presentation recently. Their guest speaker was Watchkeeper Hugh S, who as well as being one of our trainers is also an accomplished sailor.

He explained to the group how our volunteers are a HMCG asset.

We are thankful for your invitation.

The WI (National Federation of Women's Institutes) is the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. It plays a unique role in enabling women to develop new skills and gives them opportunities to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

If anyone felt inspired to find out more about volunteering with NCI Exmouth, please do drop us an email via our contact details above. We'd love to hear from you.

No prior experience is necessary to join the team. Full training is given, and you can become a fully qualified Watchkeeper in a matter of months if you have the time to spare for training watches and some half-day courses. Being a Watchkeeper is an invaluable service to the community, and great fun too! Do get in touch to find out more.
