At 14.20, watchkeepers observed a plume of black smoke arising close to Marina. They were also contacted on CH65 from a boat to advise on fire in estuary. Advised HMCG, who were already aware.

At 14.35, assistance was given to extinguish the fire, and at 14.46, the smoke ceased.

At 14.15, HMCG had received report from MoP of broken down jetski off Orcombe Point and asked us for sighting. Our watchkeepers scanned the area using optics and CCTV and at 14.26 confirmed nothing seen. MoP had confirmed that casualty now safely ashore.

At 18.35 Following a report of paddleboarder in distress, HMCG requested eyes on from NCI
NCI Confirmed only paddleboarder visible was walking on Pole Sands.

At 15.35, we received a call on CH65 stating concern for 2 paddleboarders near buoy 8. Watchkeepers contacted the RNLI Lifeguards who were observing. The two were known to them and there was no concern for safety.

19.15 Watchkeepers observed a woman and young child on pole sands and were attempting to return to shore on a paddle board – Woman had no life jacket, child had arm bands.

At 19.25 NCI Observed as woman and child fell off paddleboard and were unable to recover recover. Quickly noticed 2 paddleboarders approaching them to assist.

19.26 1 paddleboarder picked up the child and paddle-boarded them to the shore where they were met by family.

19.30 Continued to monitor as second paddleboarder struggled to assist woman. A passing speedboat came alongside to assist, still unable to recovery woman to paddleboard, instead recovered them to the speedboat.

19.30 Call from HMCG to ask if we had eyes on as they had recieved a call, NCI explained exactly what had happened and where they were, HMCG asked whether medical assistance needed.

19.43 Confirmed to CG that all now safely ashore, casualty walking up the beach with paddle board no medical assistance required.

17.18 NCI Observing two swimmers in the channel on an outgoing tide and advised Lifeguards by phone
17.19 A Call received from a vessel reporting same on CH65. Advised that we had eyes on and thank you
17.20 Swimmers made it ashore and LGs advised.

At 11.31 Following call from MoP, HMCG requested sighting of vessel possibly drifting.

NCI Confirmed visual and no apparent cause for concern. Crew simply attempting to secure kayak to stern.
Observation maintained.

At 15.00 NCI observing two female swimmers mid channel near Mamhead slipway.
At 15.02 RNLI Lifeguard visited watchtower to join observation.
At 15.05 MoP called and reported concern for swimmers.
At 15.05 RNLI PWC attended and swimmers returned to shore.
